About Hannah

 Hello Everyone,

Yoga teacher training had been a long time dream of mine that kept getting put aside.  I was too busy or distracted by other busy things but yoga had always been a part of my life.  Yoga for me is a 'living well' strategy for me that I keep returning to.  It's Restorative after a long bike ride, it helps focus my thoughts on stressful work days,  it helps build core and upper body strength as I age (I'm way older than I look!).

The early days of COVID presented an opportunity, unscheduled time.  I knew this was a once in a lifetime opportunity and the right time to jump in and take a Yoga Teacher Training course.

I completed 200 hour Yoga Teacher training with Maha Pura Yoga in Guelph, Ontario & am 'Get Fit where you Sit', Lakshmi Voelker Chair Yoga Teacher (LVCYT) certified.  I completed my 500 hour Yoga Teacher Training with ReNew Yoga.  I also  hold a Diploma in Recreation Leadership, a Post-Grad in Recreation Management for Older Adults and have completed 'Conscious Marketing: Social Justice-Focused Digital Strategies for Yoga Teachers'  Accessible Yoga Training with Tristan Katz.

Being inclusive and Accessibility are of utmost importance to me.  I strive for ongoing learning and continual mind-changing.  Using props and a chair while doing yoga is a great way to expand on your existing practice or help yoga be accessible for you.  Please take a moment to review my policy.

Why Blue Angel?  Yoga can be a fart-y activity and Hannah can be a bit silly sometimes.  Best not to suppress the gas within as you will find greater discomfort if you do!  Good thing all the classes are online.  Safety note: No actual farts will be ignited during class.

When not doing yoga... I'm playing the ukulele or cycling, working with volunteers, selling cheese or crafting massive cross stitches of famous paintings.

I look forward to seeing you online with your matt or/and chair... or at a ukulele jam!
